Join us at Carnegie Hall on June 10, 6:00–7:15 pm, for the 2026 National Ceremony!
Teens are required to attend a dress rehearsal starting at 3:00 pm.
Other guests can enter Carnegie Hall starting at 5:00 pm.
You must register for tickets by May 19.
Be dazzled by celebrity guests, the Alumni Achievement Award winner, and of course—YOU, the 2026 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards Gold Medalists! All winners will be acknowledged: select scholarship winners will be invited onstage; others will be acknowledged from the audience. Please note that, due to the number of National Medalists, most names are not read individually, and winners are acknowledged as a group, by award.
Want to get a peek at what to expect? Check out the 2025 National Ceremony online.
TICKET INFORMATION
Seating is limited:
- Each winning teen may RSVP for themselves and up to two (2) guests for a total of 3 tickets (e.g., you + mom + grandma = 3)
- Each Affiliate or Region-at-Large partner may register for up to 3 staff representatives (3 tickets total)
- Each educator may register for an individual ticket only (1 ticket total)
Attendees and their guests must check-in at the Marriott Marquis during open hours (Tuesday, June 9, 12:00–4:00 pm, and Wednesday, June 10, 10:00 am–1:00 pm) to receive their Gold Medals (to be worn during the Ceremony) and physical tickets to the Ceremony.
After you check in, Scholastic Awards staff will hold all teen tickets; winning teens do not need and will not have a paper ticket to enter the stage door for Dress Rehearsal. For example: if you registered for 3 tickets, you’ll walk away from Check In with 2 physical tickets (for guests) and 1 ticket held by Scholastic Awards staff (for winning teens).
Make sure the right person in your party is responsible for holding onto those paper tickets! All guests (friends & family, educators, and partners) other than winning teens must present their paper ticket at Carnegie Hall for admittance.
If you're interested in additional tickets beyond your allotted amount, you may check with the Carnegie Hall Box Office on the day of the National Ceremony starting at 3:00 pm to inquire about standby tickets. Availability is not guaranteed.
